Huis van Alijn bewaart een rijke collectie circuserfgoed van Belgische circusfamilies en artiesten uit de 20e eeuw. Blikvangers
uit de collectie zijn de tientallen originele lithografieën die circusartiesten en circussen lieten produceren. Affiches brachten
vroeger niet alleen de circussen in beeld maar ook circusartiesten en hun specifieke act. Het fotoarchief bevat duizenden
foto’s. Ze brengen het circusleven in zijn meest diverse aspecten in beeld, voor en achter de schermen. Ook de honderden circuskostuums
en –attributen brengen de artiesten opnieuw tot leven. Samen met brieven, persoonlijke documenten, krantenknipsels en programmabrochures
geven ze ons een inkijk in het reilen en zeilen van het artiestenleven. </span></p><p data-renderer-start-pos="1014" style='margin-top:
