In de Databank Ondergrond Vlaanderen zijn verschillende grondwatermeetnetten opgenomen. Deze meetnetten staan in functie van uitgebreide monitoringprogramma’s met de bedoeling een goed beeld te krijgen van de beschikbare grondwaterkwantiteit en grondwaterkwaliteit van de watervoerende lagen in Vlaanderen. Deze kaartlaag toont alle watermonsters die in de meetnetten opgenomen zijn.

Alle grondwaterlocaties die opgenomen zijn in de Databank Ondergrond Vlaanderen kunnen via deze kaartlaag bekeken worden. Er zijn verschillende types grondwaterlocaties gedefinieerd: (putten en natuurlijke winningen). En ook verschillende filtertypes (pompfilters, infiltratiefilters, omkeerbare pomp/infiltratiefilters, peilfilters, natuurlijke filters (bronnen en vijvers) Deze locaties worden bijgehouden voor verschillende doeleinden, waaronder: - de winningsputten en peilputten van exploitanten, deze worden ingevoerd op basis van het dossier van de grondwatervergunning - de putten van de grondwatermeetnetten van VMM - de meetputten van INBO en andere natuurorganisaties

Butterfly monitoring scheme in Flanders, Belgium is a sampling event dataset published by the Research Institute of Nature and Forest (INBO). This dataset contains transect data for butterfly species, collected using a standardized protocol since 1991. Data from 1991-2014 were collected in the INBO Vlinderdatabank (Maes et al. 2016), but have since been migrated to the meetnetten.be database, where new observations are recorded.
